Cowroast marina is a purpose built basin adjacent to the Grand Union Canal, located near the Cowroast lock (lock number 46), at the Tring Summit.

We offer moorings to around 100 narrowboats, with the unusual luxury of being able to bring your car to your mooring, with a car park for your guests and when you are cruising.

The marina is a secure site out side of our office hours and the site has security lighting throughout the hours of darkness. All the entrances are locked after office hours, mooring tenants have their own key enabling access to the site out side of our opening hours.

Our other marina is at Fenny Compton on the Oxford Canal in Warwickshire and our tenants have the advantage of using the marina to moor for a couple of weeks a year when we have an available space.

The moorings here at Cowroast can become available at any time, as people choose to try different parts of the canal system. To enquire about a mooring here please contact the office for a Mooring Request Form.
